More from Mother's Day

Here is another layout from mother's Day. We always get our picture taken after church. Travis always says it is too bright outside and he can't keep his eyes opened, so we waited until later in the evening (that is why we aren't in our church clothes this year) but he still couldn't keep his eyes open. That is him with his head down. He just has really tender eyes I guess. Maybe next year we will have to take our picture with sunglasses on so we don't have to just see the top of his head or his squinty eyes. He really has beautiful eyes, so it would be nice to be able to see them, but I hate taking the picture inside, so I guess something has to give right? I love being a mom and I love my boys! Thanks for putting up with my photo taking guys.

Trevin had to plan a Family Fun Night for one of his Webelo activities, so we all went golfing last night after dinner. We hit two buckets of balls and putted around on the putting green. My first three hits went past the white marker! Woo Hoo! I am just amazing am I not? LOL
We actually all did pretty well. Sean gave Trevin some tips and he was actually hitting them almost to the white marker with his little Snoopy driver. So, maybe I am not so amazing if the Snoopy driver can go almost as far as my nice one.
Anyway, it was fun!
School got out today and Sean and the boys are gone to Father and Sons with the ward tonight. I hope they don't freeze their behinds off!

Hershey Track Meet

Trevin had his Hershey track meet a couple weeks ago. Sean and I were able to sneak away from work and go watch him compete. We did miss his softball throw, but we were able to make it for both of his races. He ran the 50 meter dash and the 100 meter. He took 3rd place in his heat for the 50 meter and surprised everyone including himself. It was a fun day and he did a great job. He was so consciencious (how in the heck do you spell that word?) about how he was holding his hands, it was so cute. I loved the big picture!

Lunch Date

Guess what I did yesterday? Travis and Tyrel didn't go to school because it was Lagoon day (I know, they are crazy) but at 11:30 they came up with Sean and asked if I wanted to go hit a bucket of balls. I told them I was too busy with work and they said, "Come on, it is lunch time, we are going to have lunch at the club house and hit a bucket of balls." So, since it was lunch time and I needed to eat, I packed up my clubs and away we went. On my very first hit, without a practice swing or anything, I hit my ball clear to the white marker. I don't know how far that is, but it is farther than I have ever hit it before and I didn't even go last year at all because Sean had a broken arm. I actually hit 3 of the 18 or so I tried to hit out to the white marker. Most of them were between the white and red, with a couple to the red and a couple that just dribbled over the lip of the hill. But it was fun and good to get out and do something with the boys.

Trevin had to plan a "Family Fun Night" for one of his Webelos activity badges, so tomorrow night we are going to hit buckets of balls again. I'm excited. Tyrel has outgrown his clubs so he was using mine and really liked them. They are about the right size for him. Sean's are still a little too long for him to manage correctly.

Trevin is taking swimming lessons this summer and golf camp the first week of June.

Tyrel is signed up for Soccer camp at SUU and will have conditioning every Tuesday morning and Thursday night through the summer so that hopefully he can make the high school team for the Spring.

Travis is trying to decide if he wants to work cherries this summer. He is going to Youth Conference in June (so is Tyrel and so am I). Hopefully he will finish his Eagle project this summer and get his driver's license.

Brett and Jaron

This is a layout I did of Brett and Jaron with some pictures that Andrea sent me that she took on Easter. Isn't it adorable? I love this kit! Wish I could claim as my own. One of these days I'll get our Easter pictures scrapped and then I will finish telling you about Easter. It was actually quite fun even though it snowed. Stay tuned for more info later.

Mother's Day

Part of my Mother's Day gift from the boys this year was them re-planting my whiskey barrell planter. It looks much better as you can see from the before and after pictures on the left. Tyrel also had the wonderful thought to get me solar lights for my flower beds. I love them! The back yard is looking so nice this year with all the ground cover filling in. I'll write more later when I scrap the rest of the pictures.

More from Spring Break

I think I finally finished my photos from Spring Break. I just did this layout today with our shopping pictures from the mall. Travis and Tyrel love shopping for cool clothes. Maybe it will motivate them to get a job this summer so they can afford more clothes. They found a great deal on hoodies and both just "Had to have one or two"!

Spring Break

K, I am such a slacker at blog posting lately and I really don't have an excuse because with the new help at the office, things have slowed down for me and I have been done with work by 6 or 6:30 every night for the last week and a half and it is so nice to not have to work until 11 or even 1:00 in the morning like I had been doing. All of that in addition to the regular life of a mother of 3 boys.

For Spring Break a couple of weeks ago, my boys really wanted to go to Cedar City to spend time with their cousins. Heidi and I came up with all kinds of grandiose plans, but they just wanted to hang out, play Guitar Hero, go to the pool, a movie, and the mall. So, that is what we did. I don't have all of the photos I took scrapped yet, but here are a few.
Trevin spent almost the entire time at the pool trying to get across the lily pads. He was determined and did make it all the way across quite a few times. I think it was his favorite part of the pool.

This is a 2 page spread of Travis diving from the edge of the pool. They were having a triathalon at the pool so the one side was closed off most of the time so they only got in about 10 minutes of diving from the edge and from the diving boards. I guess we picked a bad day to go to the pool.

Here are a couple more of Travis basically just being a dork, but I love him anyway! At least I got photos of something other than "the hand" which is what I usually get from him lateley when I try to take a picture.

We went to the mall where Travis and Tyrel totally spent their last paychecks on clothes. We went and saw the movie "Taken" which was really good. Most of the time we just hung out and visited and it was fun! Thanks for being hostess Heidi, I was glad to be able to leave work for a couple days and relax and visit with you.
